Forklift Operator (Night Shift)

FORKLIFT OPERATORThe Forklift Operator duties will include pick orders and items, load and unload trucks, work in or around dock areas, perform quality and inventory checks and maintain a clean work environment.SIGN-ON BONUS:$500 Sign-On Bonus! This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus, payable after the successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment. To qualify, employees must remain in good standing, which includes maintaining satisfactory job performance, attendance, and compliance with company policies. Employees who separate from employment or are subject to corrective action prior to completing 90 days of employment will forfeit eligibility for the sign-on bonus.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area while ensuring accuracy. May operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.Loading and unloading delivery trucksConduct inventory countsRestock product into correct locationMaintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.Other duties as assignedSCHEDULE:Monday- Thursday, 4:00PM-2:00AMFriday, 1:00PM-5:00PMMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education:HS Diploma or GED, strongly preferredSkills/Qualifications:Highly organized and detail orientedStrong work ethic with ability to work with little supervisionBasic mathematical skillsDependable with excellent time management skillsPass pre-employment and random drug screensHave reliable transportation to work each dayA team player with strong communication skillsMust be able to pass background and drug testWORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to work in a team-oriented, professional and fast-paced environment. Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift from 15 to 80 pounds.
