This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced respiratory therapist looking to work in a high-acuity, multi-specialty environment with strong clinical exposure .

• Night Shift: 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract
• Rotation required (weekends + on-call)
• Work across critical care units (Adult, Pediatric & NICU exposure)

This hospital is a 265-bed regional referral center providing care across nearly all major specialties. The hospital is known for its strong community mission and advanced respiratory care services , supporting patients with complex and critical needs.

Role Responsibilities

Under supervision of the RT leadership team, the Respiratory Therapist will:

• Provide respiratory care in critical care environments
• Support adult, pediatric, and neonatal ICU patients
• Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent patients
• Assist in emergency respiratory interventions
• Participate in training and mentoring RT staff
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity settings

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience (required)
• Active Oklahoma RT license (or compact eligible)
• Strong experience in critical care respiratory therapy
• Must be comfortable working in ICU-level environments

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA) – Required
• Additional certifications may be required by facility compliance 

⏰ Schedule & Work Expectations

• Night shifts (12 hours)
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call rotation required
• Compliance must be completed 1 week prior to start date
• Orientation starts on Tuesdays (Allied staff)

• 265-bed acute care hospital
• Provides care in critical care, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory units
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration across ICU and emergency services
• Exposure to high-acuity ventilator and respiratory management cases
