TransGrid has a robust pipeline of projects in the near term, and it will expand its energy asset portfolio across the United States.As an affiliate company of Hanwha Group, a FORTUNE Global 500 company driven by a firm commitment to advancing the clean energy future, TransGrid Energy strives to shape the renewable energy landscape by providing sustainable and reliable power solutions tailored to meet the energy needs of today and tomorrow.Position OverviewThe Finance Manager reports to the Finance Director and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the newly established Finance/Treasury department to support the company's growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable operating with ambiguity and limited precedent, enjoys designing and improving processes from the ground up, and is willing to move between hands-on execution and process design as the department scales. This role will support a debt portfolio in non-recourse Project Financing loans and cash management for more than +100 bank accounts and 30+ legal entities. The Finance Manager will manage Project Financing closings, Term conversions, and the establishment of sophisticated monitoring processes for Tax Equity Partnerships and dividend distributions.ResponsibilitiesExecute PF Closings and Term Loan conversions.Manage the service in non-recourse PF debt (e.g. - Tax Equity Bridge Loan and Construction Loan), ensuring all principal and interest payments are executed accurately.Prepare and review PF covenant reporting to ensure strict adherence to lender requirements.Manage daily cash operations and the +100 bank accounts, including dozens of restricted reserve accounts required by non-recourse PF agreements.Support and enhance cash positioning and cash forecasting processes and reporting.Support the process for calculating quarterly distributable cash and monitoring partnership shortfalls to initiate margin calls according to the agreements.Support the management of interest rate swaps and hedging strategies to protect project cash flows from market volatility.Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and internal controls specific to treasury and project finance operations.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.6+ years of progressive experience in project finance, treasury, or corporate finance, with a focus on utility-scale energy projects.Hands-on experience with PF debt and waterfall structures.Proven ability to manage high-volume financial transactions and multi-account structures.Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial modeling for debt service and dividend distributions.Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience in renewable energy and/or project finance preferred.Experience using SAP, banking portals and Treasury Management Systems.Demonstrated experience in improving financial processes and reporting structures.Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English a plus.CPA or CFA a plus.Work AuthorizationThe ideal candidate for this role will have authorization to work in the US prior to joining TransGrid Energy LLC.
