Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, working night shifts at a hospital in Georgia.

Job Details

• Works in the Emergency Services department of an acute care hospital,
• Night shift schedule: 19:00-07:30,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license - Georgia (GA) state or Compact license required,
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted for all),
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) or Stroke Certification preferred,
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required,
• DOB and SSN required for consideration,
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP/DCI) training required - can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the CDC's free NIOSH resource,

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation,
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology,
• Must be knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and mandated reporting requirements for child and adult abuse,
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred,
