Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize emergencies, and initiate interventions. Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in electronic health records. Administer medications and document administration per protocol and policy. Collaborate with obstetric team to develop and update care plans. Lead or participate in care coordination and handoffs during shift changes. Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe clinical environment. Utilize performance metrics and pipelines to optimize patient flow and outcomes. Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postnatal care. Mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing professional development. Engage in continuous learning to advance clinical skills and specialty knowledge. Experience/Qualifications Current RN license with obstetric/neonatal nursing certification (e.g., CNOR) expected. Active RN in labor and delivery with at least 2 years’ experience. Proficiency in fetal monitoring and interpretation, emergency response protocols. Ability to document accurately in electronic health records and maintain chart integrity. Strong collaboration with obstetric team and participation in care planning. Commitment to infection control and patient safety in a high-acuity setting. Demonstrated leadership in handoffs, care coordination, and patient flow optimization. Ability to educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postnatal care. Data-driven mindset with experience using performance metrics and pipelines. Mentorship and contribution to ongoing professional development of staff. Flexibility to adapt in a growth-oriented, target-driven environment. On-site availability with capacity for shift-based coverage and overtime as needed. What's in it for you?
