Japanese Interpreter

Joining a highly collaborative team, the part-time Japanese Interpreter will provide simultaneous interpretation and translation for meetings and documents, ensuring effective communication in a remote setting during morning shifts. Key responsibilities Provide accurate simultaneous interpretation for department meetings Translate spoken statements and written materials between Japanese and English Support the team by translating documents quickly and accurately when needed Required qualifications Highly experienced in Japanese and English interpretation and translation in both directions Proficient in simultaneous interpretation Fluent in verbal and written formats for both languages Bachelor's Degree with a few years of experience, or at least 5 years of interpretation experience in lieu of a degree Ability to communicate smoothly and understandably in both languages
