About the Role

As an STNA at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital sign assessments, hygiene, and mobility assistance

• Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests

• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure individualized care plans are implemented

• Documenting patient care and progress accurately and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing dignity, respect, and compassion

• Support the healthcare team in delivering individualized care plans, including assistance with daily living activities and mobility

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experiences and outcomes

• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Currently certified or eligible to become certified as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in the state of Ohio

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients of varying weights and sizes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

• Willingness to work night and day shifts, including weekends and holidays
