Sam's Club #4840 3900 Deerfield Dr Janesville, WI 53546-4431 Position Overview The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely, managing inventory flow, providing member service, maintaining safety and merchandising standards, and ensuring accurate club pick‑up orders. Key Responsibilities Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity by implementing action plans and applying them in business processes. Operate forklift following company standards and guidelines while safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities using data and resources while collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners. Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers, managing inventory flow and maintaining required paperwork and logs. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and supporting them with self‑service technology and purchasing decisions. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with policies, ensuring proper zoning, stocking, rotating, and displaying merchandise. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled accurately and timely, staging products and performing audits for accuracy. Track and control inventory to prevent shrinkage, report poor inventory practices, and use inventory tools safely. Identify technology needs for customers, assist them with technology services, and model and help others with technology solutions. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior forklift operating experience and forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
