Provide overnight pharmacy technician support in a critical care hospital setting, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off, covering 70-73 hours per week from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. This travel opportunity offers the chance to contribute to pediatric and inpatient care with a focus on acute and neonatal intensive care units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support overnight pharmacy operations including phone triage, first-dose fills, and 24-hour medication cart replenishment
• Prepare intravenous medications in the IV room following established protocols
• Utilize EPIC for order entry and medication verification processes
• Collaborate closely with a pharmacist during overnight shifts to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery
• Adhere to hospital dress code, wearing provided teal scrubs

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license in the state required
• Proven experience with IV room operations, pediatrics, and inpatient pharmacy services
• Proficiency with EPIC pharmacy system is required
• Familiarity with Omnicell automation is a plus; on-site training available if needed
• Prior exposure to critical care, NICU, or similar specialty areas preferred

Work Schedule:

• Overnight shift hours: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Work cycle: 7 consecutive days on, followed by 7 days off

This assignment is available immediately for a 13-week duration with the possibility of extension until a permanent candidate is hired. The setting includes a small overnight staff consisting of one technician and one pharmacist, offering a focused environment for professional growth.
