Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianCandidate will be working in an office building around other people who are working as part of a team. Troubleshoot HVAC issues, basic plumbing, general maintenance and repairs, basic electric, and escort vendors. May have to contact vendors or outside staff.EPA or OSHA preferred. Must have skills in key in lock, basic plumbing, basic electric, basic HVAC, and fire suppression.3-5 years of experience. High School diploma or GED. Basic computer skills required.Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner. Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
