Material Handler (Stand-up Forklift)

Compensation: $17.50/hour, with a $0.75/hour increase upon successful completion of MHE (Material Handling Equipment) certification.

Shift: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:30 PM. Mandatory overtime may be required (typically 2 hours at the end of shift), notification will be provided in advance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely unload, break down, and sort incoming freight, including the loading and unloading of trailers (heavy lifting required, up to 50 lbs).
• Operate stand-up forklifts and other warehouse equipment, as needed.
• Maintain accurate records for receiving purposes using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment (stand-up forklift preferred).
• Experience using RF (Radio Frequency) scanning guns.
• Strong computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed (manager will announce overtime availability in advance).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn all aspects of the position.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and long-term employment.
