Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Armed Patrol in Butner, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.
• Support emergency situations by following established response protocols, maintaining visible presence, and assisting with crowd control, restricted area monitoring, and/or coordination with first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
