ER Registered Nurse - $97K to $150K

Nursing Leadership Position

Provides leadership and support for all nursing and designated patient care functions within the hospital. Assists in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units. Holds 24/7 responsibility for the Director's assigned areas. Supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. Ensures competency of clinical staff and effective resource management related to patient care. Position is within a Level I Trauma Center. Emergency Department volume: approximately 27,300 visits per year. ED includes 2 trauma bays and a total of 38 beds. Average trauma load: 815 traumas per day. Responsible for overall operations of the Emergency Department. Oversight of approximately 60 employees. Nursing staff are represented by the NNOC union. Requires highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate proven leadership ability and strong hospital operational knowledge. Expected to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Required: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care related field or a BSN. Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position. Required: Currently licensed in the state of residence/practice, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.

Compensation: USD $97,988 to $150,000
