About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology vision and engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and setting the strategic technology direction, particularly in the context of building an AI-native agency model. This role demands a hands-on technical leader with a proven track record in high-growth environments, capable of both executive leadership and in-depth architectural judgment. The CTO will oversee the development of the company's proprietary MarTech platform, ensuring it is at the forefront of industry standards in terms of reliability, scalability, security, and CI/CD practices. Additionally, the role involves leading the evolution of the AI Operating System, driving build vs. buy decisions, and establishing LLMOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in enterprise integration and orchestration systems, LLM-based systems, and cloud data infrastructure. Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have a minimum of 18 years of engineering experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role. Required qualifications include a proven track record in technical leadership, experience in architecting enterprise systems, and a strong background in security and governance. The CTO will be expected to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team, and to serve as a full member of the Executive Leadership Team, influencing the company's vision and strategy. Clear communication skills, both technical and non-technical, are essential, as is the ability to represent the company's technology externally. Preferred qualifications include a background in software, data, or ML/AI engineering, experience in marketing technology, and a strong presence in the industry.
