Finish Carpenter

PJ's Carpentry and Woodworking is seeking a Finish Carpenter to deliver high-quality interior and exterior finishing work with precision and craftsmanship. Position Summary As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing, refining, and completing woodwork and finish details that elevate the final appearance and durability of each project. You will work closely with the project team to ensure measurements, alignment, and finishing standards meet expectations from start to finish. This is a full-time, onsite role in Park City, UT, where your attention to detail and pride in your finished work will be key to consistently producing excellent results. Key Responsibilities Install and finish trim and wood components, ensuring clean lines, accurate fit, and proper alignment. Measure, cut, and assemble finishing materials to specifications while maintaining quality and consistency. Prepare surfaces for finishing work and apply stains, sealants, paints, or other finish products as required. Inspect finished areas for defects and perform adjustments or corrections to meet project standards. Support jobsite organization by maintaining tools, materials, and work areas in a safe and efficient manner. Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience as a carpenter with finishing or trim installation responsibilities. Strong understanding of measuring, layout, cutting, and fitting techniques. Ability to read and interpret basic project specifications and installation requirements. Consistent focus on detail, quality, and workmanship standards. Ability to work onsite full-time in Park City, UT and perform carpentry tasks safely. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on residential or remodeling projects where finish quality is critical. Familiarity with a variety of wood materials and finishing methods. Ability to troubleshoot fit, alignment, and finishing issues during installation. Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to delivering work that matches project expectations.
