Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a part-time overnight position. This role will perform diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, provide patient care, and support clinical research activities in a modern sleep laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic PSG and PAP titration studies.
- Perform pediatric PSG, MSLT, and MWT studies according to AASM standards.
- Monitor and score studies using Compumedics Profusion .
- Provide PAP education and overnight patient care.
- Complete clinical and research documentation.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Participate in quality assurance and research activities.
Qualifications
- Current BRPT RPSGT certification in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of independent PSG experience .
- Current BLS/CPR certification .
- Compumedics Profusion experience preferred; cross-training available.
- Strong patient-care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently overnight and lift approximately 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric PSG experience.
- Sleep research/clinical-trial experience.
- GCP/IATA training.
- Mentoring experience.
