Senior Interactive Developer (React)

Expected Start Date: Immediately. End Date (if applicable): strong possibility for extension and conversion to FTE. Project will continue for the additional 4 years. Citizenship: Candidates should hold a Green Card or be a USC. If candidates hold H1B Visas- they have to have lived within the United States the past three years to achieve Government Clearance.

Role Overview: This project is a multi-year digital transformation project implemented focused on conservation efforts. The project is ran by following product management principles in SAFe framework. Team is large (80-100) and comprised of multiple agile teams – we form one large release train. Tech stack include DevSecOps tools, JS React, GIS, Java,.NET and others. Project leans heavily on maps and scientific data.

Skills & Requirements: JS React Experience and Knowledge. Technical expertise. -JS React knowledge is Critical—cannot be replaced with Angular. Practical Agile Experience (Scrum is sufficient). Collaboration/Communication. Candidates MUST have a 4 year degree—this will be screened and checked during the interview process and in the badging/background check process. What are we looking for in you? We are looking for a Senior Interactive Developer (React) to join a small cross-functional delivery team to design, develop, and deliver front-end web applications for a new client in the Federal space. This individual will have prior experience building front-end using tools/frameworks such as React, AngularJS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks. The qualified applicant will have strong interpersonal skills, work productively on a distributed scrum-based agile delivery team, and feel comfortable and confident communicating directly with our clients. The candidate will be responsible for augmentation of user interface code and creation of simple to moderately complex user experiences.

Skills & Qualifications At minimum 5+ years of experience. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Ability to pass background investigation and obtain U.S. Government clearance (public trust). Demonstrated, hands-on experience. Experienced JavaScript Developer including JavaScript MVC. React experience is a plus. Proven results and history of solution delivery working with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS. Solid understanding of web technologies, responsive design and alignment with the latest trends and best practices. Esri JavaScript API for ArcGIS is a plus, but not required. Excellent communication, time-management and process-management skills. Experience managing build pipeline dependencies is plus. The capability to lead or contribute to a fast-paced agile delivery team. A willingness to explore and find creative solutions to difficult problems. A drive to learn new technologies and skills. An empathetic and thoughtful approach to teamwork and collaboration. Built Section 508 (WCAG 2.0 Level AA) compliant solutions is a plus. Previous Federal contracting experience is a plus.
