Pride Health is hiring a Patient Intake Representative (PIR) to support our client’s medical facility in Indiana location. Patient Intake Representative (PIR) Location: Multiple Locations Throughout Indiana (Auburn, Columbia City, Fort Wayne, Huntington, and Warsaw) Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week (8-Hour Shifts) Pay Rate: $19 - $23 per Hour Position Overview We are seeking professional, customer-focused Patient Intake Representatives (PIRs) to join a growing healthcare team across multiple Indiana locations. The Patient Intake Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring an efficient and positive patient experience. This role is ideal for individuals with strong administrative, scheduling, and patient-facing experience who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner. Complete patient registration and accurately collect demographic and insurance information. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits while ensuring all required documentation is obtained. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards. Answer incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general office support. Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support daily operations. Qualifications Previous customer service, call center, front desk, or patient registration experience required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Experience with appointment scheduling and insurance verification preferred. Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with computers, electronic medical records (EMR), and standard office software. Professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and service.
