Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary The Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab provides care for patients undergoing procedures in the department of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Endovascular Suite in the Heart & Vascular Center. This includes prep, procedure and recovery of these patients as well as on‑call responsibilities for this care. Assists in clinical care for all patients as needed in the HVC. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent, NYS licensed/registered Nurse (or eligible) with a minimum of 2 years post licensure acute care nursing experience (preferably in an ICU/cardiac/critical care setting) required. CPR/BLS required by time of appointment. Must be able to handle physical aspects of patient care such as moving patients and equipment, work well in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications ACLS Certification preferred. Acute care experience in Cardiac Care. ICU/Critical Care. Work Days Monday-Friday, flexible days; participation in on call duties required for off shift weekend & holiday.
