Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for ER patients, including initial assessment, continuous monitoring, interventions, and responsive adjustment of care plans.
- Triage patients, administer medications, manage IV therapy, perform wound care, and implement treatment plans per established standards of care.
- Document all care accurately in the patient record; communicate changes and updates to the multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate with physicians, technicians, and other disciplines to ensure safe, efficient care.
- Assist with discharge planning, patient and family education, and referrals as appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment; uphold patient safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
- Support resuscitation and code management as needed, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

Requirements
- Active California registered nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
