About the Position

Job Title: Registered Dietitian Profession: Dietary Services Specialty: Clinical Inpatient Dietitian Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: 1-2 years acute tube feeding and TPN experience preferred License: Active state license Certifications: BLS, RD/RDN Must-Have: Acute tube feeding and TPN experience Description: The position is for a Registered Dietitian. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call requirements include Saturday and Sunday call for tube feedings and TPNs only, rotated among the staff dietitians. There is a holiday on-call requirement for tube feedings and TPNs only, also rotated among the staff dietitians. Weekend on-call for tube feedings and TPNs only is required, rotated among the staff dietitians. Candidates must have experience with acute tube feeding and TPN. 1-2 years of experience is sufficient if the candidate has the required experience. First-time applicants are welcome. Candidates must have BLS and RD/RDN certifications. Local candidates are not accepted; applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Scrub color is eggplant. The facility cares for adult and geriatric patient age groups with a daily census of 195. The unit includes support from various interdisciplinary teams such as IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and others. Patient diagnoses include enteral nutrition, parenteral nutrition, malnutrition, and wounds. The role focuses on patients in intensive care units. Candidates must be willing to float based on facility needs.
