Job Title: HR Business Partner III - EXEMPT - OT, doubletime, and holiday hours, if applicable, are billed at the regular rate

Requirements:


5+ years of HR business partner or comparable HR generalist experience
Experience with providing day-to-day HR support to organizational leaders and employees
Must have experience with HR investitgations
Must have experience working with Unions
Ability to provide onsite HR support at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center
Ability to work effectively as a full-time, exempt individual contributor
Experience with maintaining continuity of HR services and responding to operational HR needs
Ability to partner with leaders on workforce and employee-related matters within the HR business partner scope


Preferred Requirements:


Experience with healthcare or hospital-based HR operations
Experience supporting acute-care or patient-care environments
Experience supporting complex or multi-site organizations
Proficiency in enterprise HR information systems


Summary / Duties:
The HR Business Partner III will provide onsite HR support for Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, helping maintain consistent day-to-day HR coverage for leaders and employees. This individual-contributor role will serve as an HR partner to the assigned organization, responding to operational HR needs, supporting workforce and employee-related matters, and helping leaders navigate HR processes within the scope of the HR business partner function. Responsibilities include maintaining continuity of HR services, coordinating with appropriate HR resources, addressing routine and complex HR matters, and supporting effective implementation of organizational HR practices. The successful candidate will bring strong HR business partner or generalist experience, sound judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced patient-care environment.
