Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a facility located in King City, California. The position involves providing safe, effective patient care across various hospital departments, including Emergency, Medical Surgical, Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment. The position offers night shifts with a minimum weekly schedule of 36 hours.

Job Details:

• Location: King City, California
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); minimum of one year recent acute care experience within the past two years, with six months recent experience in Emergency or Critical Care settings; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Emergency or Critical Care settings, teaching hospital experience, proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Allscripts, or Cerner, and trauma level experience.
• Additional Information: Credentialing to be sent in one batch; updates are acceptable but compliance should be submitted concurrently. Billing cycle is weekly. Any missed meals or breaks must be pre-approved by the supervisor and will be paid with proof of approval. Overtime hours in excess of 40 hours per week are billable at the regular hourly rate plus $10/hr. The holiday rate is defined as the regular hourly rate plus $10/hr. The agency will invoice directly for weekly shifts, and no elevated billing is permitted for hours 9-12 on 10 or 12-hour shifts. Housing options in King City include Keefer's Inn and Greenfield Village Apartments.
• Additional notes: The position involves providing break relief and supplemental staffing in various nursing departments at the hospital. Candidates must meet all licensing and certification requirements prior to start date.
