Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Type of Position: Salary, 40 hours/week

Benefits:

Job Description:

As a Warehouse Supervisor at Michele’s Granola, you are a key member of our Warehouse Team. The primary role of the Warehouse Supervisor is to lead a team of warehouse associates by verifying safe work practices, verifying timecards, ensure completion of assigned tasks, and completing progressive discipline when needed.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Supervisor include:

1. Maintaining clean and organized warehouses free from debris and hazards by

a. Using powered equipment to keep the warehouse organized

b. Pulling ingredients, supplies, and finished goods as needed via FIFO

c. Establishing and maintaining warehouses following 5S principles.

2. Reporting facility and equipment issues promptly.

3. Training new hires as needed on distribution processes and procedures.

4. Leading a daily distribution team meeting and reporting at daily materials team meetings.

5. Overseeing picking of all finished goods for sale through the locals and distribution channels.

6. Completing regular finished goods inventory audits.

7. Actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

8. Following all shipping procedures and completing all quality checks at shipping.

9. Properly date marking all finished goods inventory and pulling via FIFO.

10. Setting an example of excellence in all established company values: quality & safety, community, customer service, problem solving & continuous improvement, leadership, and stewardship.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Expectations of the Warehouse Supervisor include:
