Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: Tyndall Air Force Base, FL Position Type: Full-Time Compensation: $40,000–$50,000 annually Work Schedule: TBD based on clinic needsPosition SummaryThe Pharmacy Technician provides support to licensed pharmacists at Tyndall Air Force Base, ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications to eligible beneficiaries. This role supports daily pharmacy operations while maintaining compliance with federal, Department of Defense (DoD), and facility policies.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and fill prescription orders under pharmacist supervisionEnter and maintain prescription information in electronic medical recordsOperate pharmacy systems and automated dispensing equipmentManage medication inventory, storage, and expiration monitoringSupport daily outpatient pharmacy operationsEnsure compliance with applicable regulations and pharmacy proceduresMaintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standardsMinimum QualificationsActive CPhT (PTCB) or ExCPT (NHA) certificationMinimum 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a clinical, hospital, or healthcare settingKnowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and dispensing systemsStrong attention to detail and communication skillsConditions of EmploymentAbility to pass federal background screening and credentialingEligible to work on a federal contractAbility to obtain and maintain access to Tyndall Air Force BaseWork EnvironmentClinical healthcare setting within a Military Treatment Facility.
