Job Title: Contract Nurse Practitioner – Correctional Healthcare | $85.00/hr Location: Lillington, NC OR Maury, NC (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time / Contract (5 days/week, 40 hours/week) Contract Duration: 20 Weeks (With the option to renew/extend) Position Overview We are seeking a licensed and clinical-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to fulfill a 20-week contract engagement with the choice of two state correctional facilities located in Lillington, NC or Maury, NC. This position provides an exceptional opportunity to practice primary care and behavioral triage within a structured, highly secure, and collaborative environment. Compensation & Shift Structure Hourly Rate: $85.00 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week (Five 8-hour shifts). Daily Shift Breakdown: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, diagnostic screenings, and chronic disease management for the assigned patient population. Formulate, implement, and monitor individualized medical treatment plans, managing acute illness, injuries, and routine medical complaints. Collaborate effectively with the on-site multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nursing staff, mental health clinicians, and institutional leadership. Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely Electronic Health Records (EHR) in strict compliance with state regulations and institutional security policies. Qualifications & Requirements Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of North Carolina. Current National Board Certification (FNP, AGNP, or relevant specialty). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification. Ability to successfully clear a comprehensive state background check and facility security vetting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
