Full Stack Developer

Requirements We require at least 2 years of professional software development experience, ideally in a full‑stack setting. We need strong proficiency in TypeScript and web component frameworks such as Lit. We value familiarity with Rust and a solid grasp of modern software development practices. We expect understanding of backend systems and API integration. We look for knowledge of frontend testing frameworks and tools. We need someone who can work independently, solve complex technical challenges, and perform well in a fast‑moving startup environment. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to pass a background check due to government contract requirements. We require the ability to commute to our Huntsville office five days per week. Preferred: familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, gRPC, and protocol buffers. Preferred: experience in robotics, swarm control, networking, or sensor integration. Preferred: familiarity with Figma and UI/UX design. Preferred: knowledge of network protocols, multithreading, and low‑latency data processing. Preferred: understanding of embedded systems or real‑time operating environments. Responsibilities We design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable systems for robotic vehicle control and sensor management. We collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and maintain smooth data flow between frontend and backend systems. We build intuitive, high-performance, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks. We work closely with UX/UI designers to turn designs into functional applications. We participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and software design decisions. This is a full‑time Full Stack Developer role on our Ground Control Station team, reporting to the Director of Mission Success. The position is based in Huntsville and requires in‑office work five days a week.
