CNA Certification Class - Paid Training Program

Location: Greene County Health & Rehabilitation Department: Nursing Schedule: Monday–Friday (Training Period) Position Type: Temporary (Paid Training Program) Position Summary Greene County Health & Rehabilitation is accepting applications for our paid CNA Class Training Program . This program is designed for individuals who are interested in beginning a career in healthcare and becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Selected applicants will be hired as Temporary employees and paid during training. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will continue orientation on the floor until eligible to take the state certification exam. Classes begin once six applicants have been selected. Tentative date for the class would be 6/25/2026 or once 6 applicants have been selected. Program Details Applications are accepted using the standard employment application Six applicants will be selected per class Class will begin once enrollment is full Two weeks of classroom instruction (Monday–Friday) covering: Resident care skills Safety and infection control Communication and professionalism Three days of supervised clinical training on the floor After successful completion of training, participants will continue orientation until eligible to take the state certification exam Participants are paid employees throughout the training period. Employment Status Participants are hired as temporary employees for the duration of the class and clinical training. Upon successful completion of all classroom and clinical requirements, individuals may be considered for full‑time or part‑time employment. Placement is not guaranteed and is contingent upon: Successful completion of training Demonstrated competency and performance Attendance and professionalism Availability of open positions at the time of completion Responsibilities (During & After Training) Learn and demonstrate proper resident care techniques Assist residents with daily living activities Provide compassionate, respectful care Follow safety and infection control guidelines Work under the supervision of licensed nursing staff Maintain professionalism and confidentiality Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to pass required pre‑employment screening Strong interest in healthcare and resident care Compassionate, dependable, and willing to learn Ability to attend all required class and clinical days Why Apply?
