Mechanical MillwrightWeyerhaeuser Company is searching for a skilled Industrial Maintenance position to join our Maintenance team at Evergreen EWP Plant located in Castleberry, AL. This facility's primary products are TJI Joists and Microllam Laminated Veneer Lumber for beam and header applications. We are seeking individuals who have a thorough comprehensive knowledge of mechanical equipment, processes and techniques to safely repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech lumber manufacturing equipment. Must be committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, great communication skills, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, to include days, nights, weekends and holidays as operating conditions require. Starting Pay Rate: $28.17 - $33.80, depending on level of experience.Key Functions:Machinery lubricationRepairing & troubleshooting mechanical power transmissionsBearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installationsRepair and troubleshooting of pneumatic and hydraulic systemsMetal fabrication and basic principles of cylinder repairSome troubleshooting and exposure to industrial electricity issuesQualifications:A High School Diploma or GED is requiredStable employment history with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in Industrial Mechanical workA personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulationsExperience with Machinery lubricationAbility to repair and troubleshoot mechanical power transmissionsPrevious experience with bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installationsAbility to repair and troubleshoot issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systemsPast experience with metal fabrication and basic principles of cylinder repairGood working knowledge of basic industrial electricity issuesCommitment to follow all unit electrical / maintenance practicesAbility to pass a pre-employment examinationPreferred Qualifications:Vocational or technical school certificate in related areaPast employment experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with SAP or other CMMSKnowledge of fire protection systemsAir compressor maintenance experienceAbility to comprehend blueprintAbout Weyerhaeuser:We sustainably manage forests and manufacture products that make the world a better place.
