Petroleum Marketing - Account Manager (East Texas)

Remote / Field-Based (Home Office) Must reside in the East Texas area or East Dallas.

Seeking an experienced Account Manager with fuel distribution, c-store, dealer/distributor, or franchised operations experience to drive business growth across an established territory in the greater Houston market. This is a field-based role that operates from a home office, with significant time spent visiting customer locations throughout the territory.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow a territory consisting of company-owned, dealer-owned, and distributor-operated locations throughout the Houston area.
• Serve as the primary business partner and advisor to customers, operators, and business owners.
• Develop and execute site-level business plans focused on increasing EBITDA, cash flow, and organic sales growth.
• Identify opportunities to expand fuel volumes, participation in value-added programs, and overall profitability.
• Negotiate and renew contracts while building long-term relationships with owners and executive-level decision-makers.
• Monitor business performance, analyze operational metrics, and recommend strategies to improve results.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, loyalty programs, and marketing initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and operational support.
• Maintain responsiveness to customer needs, including occasional after-hours support.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of business development, territory management, account management, or operations experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within retail fuel, petroleum marketing, fuel distribution, or dealer/distributor channels.
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility for a territory, region, or business unit.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing business relationships with owners, operators, and senior executives.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving operational performance across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of fuel retail economics, including growth initiatives, value-added programs, rental/royalty income, and brand standards.
• Ability to analyze business performance and develop actionable strategies based on financial and operational metrics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience preferred.
