Director, Communications, Consumer Products and Experiences

A leading company in consumer products and experiences is hiring a Director, Communications to support their global communications team. This temp role is based on-site and involves managing strategic communications initiatives for the division. The ideal candidate will bring extensive publicity experience and strong industry relationships to the position.

Director, Communications, Consumer Products and Experiences Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement comprehensive global external communication strategies across trade and consumer media channels.
• Proactively identify and pitch press opportunities to enhance visibility of company franchises and products.
• Oversee press coordination for departmental events, trade shows, and seasonal campaigns.
• Draft press releases, pitches, and departmental communications to support key initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison for partners, managing inquiries and asset coordination while maintaining press lists.

Director, Communications, Consumer Products and Experiences Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of publicity or communications experience.
• Proven relationships with consumer, lifestyle, entertainment, and licensing trade press.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and manage multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
