New Patient Coordinator

Leading multidisciplinary clinic specializing in chronic pain and prescription drug abuse. Be part of an interdisciplinary, dedicated and enlightened team which understands and is driven to improve life for our patients. Primary Responsibilities: Interfacing with referring medical clinics, physicians, insurance adjusters and patients. As part of a multidisciplinary team, supports our physicians in the delivery of care to patients. Registering and scheduling of all new referrals Obtaining authorizations for treatment. Obtaining medical records. Verifies patient information, history taking, confirmation of current condition. Arranging patient transportation/interpreters if necessary Updates and verifies patient information in our EMR system Providing support to coworkers. To be crosstrained and back up to coworkers Required Qualifications: High School Graduate Strong writing skills Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills, written and verbal Team player Personable Consistently positive attitude Workers Compensation experience Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Language: Spanish (Required) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Institutes of Health
