Job Title Travel: RN Med/Surg (3x12's - Nights) Location Lafayette, Indiana Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every Third Weekend (Saturday/Sunday) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving ortho and general surgery, back surgery, GI, renal, oncology, and general medical patients Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 in a 27–30 bed unit environment Utilize unit equipment including Alaris pumps, Kangaroo pumps, vein light, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Vocera communication devices Float between multiple Med/Surg units within the same facility as needed Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR Complete required computer-based training (CBTs) prior to first day of clinical orientation Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg experience, including previous travel nursing experience Current BLS certification NIHSS certification Telemetry experience Proficiency with Epic EMR Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with general and orthopedic post-operative care Experience managing Heparin drips and blood administration Epic use within the past year (may allow testing out of additional Epic education modules) Why Join Us Work in a fast-paced, well-equipped Med/Surg environment with a supportive team that values both independence and collaboration No call requirements with a predictable rotating weekend schedule every third weekend Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 773027.
