Boiler Plant Worker
Assists in starting, operating, adjusting, regulating, testing and stopping single or multiple fuel for high pressure steam oilers fueled by coal, refuse-derived-fuel (RDF), waste oiler a combination of these fuels and auxiliary pollution control and other systems in a Co-generation power plant.
Performs various minor operational repairs and routine preventive maintenance on boilers and associated auxiliary equipment.
Collects water samples and tests feed water, boiler water, and condensate using standard chemical tests.
Takes readings on all auxiliary equipment and pollution control equipment. Maintains records and logs per plant air and water permits, and documents actions.
