Production Technician I - Engines Disassembly

CNH Industrial Reman
As the engine disassembler you will disassemble core engines, clean and inspect parts, as well as tag parts and send them to the correct area. Must work with the safety department to ensure all local, state and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met, OSHA 1910, NFPA, DNR. Must work with the quality department to ensure all quality standards are met. Essential Functions:
Knowledge :
- Follow work instructions, submit PCR for incorrect work instructions, contribute to continuous improvement
- Team Player, communicate effectively
- Uses existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
- Complete daily hoist inspection, daily pallet jack inspection, maintain good housekeeping practices
- Operate machines such as electric pallet jack, washer, computer, fuel flush machine, various air tools, presses, phone, torch, and hoist
- Utilize various hand tools such as wrench and hammer
- Pre-wash engines
- Disassemble core engines
- Clean disassembled core engine components
- Inspect disassembled core engine components
- Tag core parts and send then to the correct area
- High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
- Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 30 lbs. constantly, and 31-49 lbs. frequently.
- Work in a climate controlled area
- Work in a hearing conservation area
- Preferred 2 + years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment with at least 3 months in production
- Associate degree: Machine Tool and Technology
Knowledge :
- Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Quality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Arm-Hand Steadiness — The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
- Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Finger Dexterity — The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
