We’re looking for a motivated and dependable sales professional who knows how to create opportunities, build relationships, and manage a customer from the first conversation through a completed roofing project.

About the Opportunity

As a Roofing Sales Representative / Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing your own sales pipeline and managing customer relationships from the initial roofing assessment through project completion.

This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-based opportunity. Ibis Contracting does not provide a set pipeline of sales leads. Successful representatives are proactive about generating new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, neighborhood outreach, insurance-related roofing opportunities, and relationships within the communities they serve.

This opportunity is best suited for someone who is self-directed, comfortable creating their own opportunities, and motivated by performance-based earning potential.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain your own pipeline of roofing sales opportunities
• Prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, neighborhood outreach, storm-related opportunities, and other business-development activities
• Identify and pursue roofing opportunities involving homeowners’ insurance when appropriate
• Meet with homeowners to assess their roofing needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Perform roof inspections and identify visible storm damage, wear, and other areas of concern
• Help homeowners understand the roofing and insurance-claim process when applicable
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and other parties involved throughout insurance-related roofing projects
• Conduct consistent follow-up with prospects, customers, and referral sources
• Guide customers from the initial inspection and sale through completion of their roofing project
• Maintain organized records of prospects, appointments, follow-ups, sales, and active projects
• Coordinate with the Ibis Contracting team to ensure customers receive a smooth experience throughout the project
• Represent Ibis Contracting professionally in the field and within the communities we serve

What We’re Looking For

• Previous outside sales experience preferred
• Roofing, restoration, construction, home improvement, insurance-related, or other field sales experience is a strong plus
• Experience generating your own leads and building a sales pipeline is highly preferred
• Comfortable prospecting and initiating conversations with potential customers
• Self-motivated and able to structure your own day without constant supervision
• Strong follow-up habits and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a commission-driven environment
• Ability to manage multiple customers and projects at different stages
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable safely using ladders and accessing residential roofs
• Able to pass a background check

Roofing experience is valuable, but we also welcome proven outside sales professionals who demonstrate strong prospecting ability, accountability, professionalism, and the ability to learn the roofing industry.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position compensated through commission on sales.

Estimated annual earnings are $50,000–$90,000+ , depending on individual sales performance. There is no guaranteed base salary, and earning potential is directly tied to production.

Territory

This is an on-the-road sales opportunity serving homeowners throughout Central Florida and surrounding markets.
