Lead AI Engineer

Ideal Candidate Self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team Driven by a desire to deliver outstanding customer service and a rock‑solid stable automation platform Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Systems or Information Technology 7+ years of experience working with AWS services, enterprise architecture best practices, system engineering and security 7+ years of development experience or significant knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operation 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Python, AI frameworks, and AIOps Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, SageMaker Strong software troubleshooting, problem solving and system analysis skills Willingness and capability to learn new technologies quickly Experience working with remote teams in a matrixed environment Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of technical excellence Responsibilities Be part of a dispersed team both offshore and onshore for operation of process automation products and solutions Implement engineering best practices to ensure scalability and uptime Have an understanding of industry standard security best practices Track and report on platform performance and availability metrics Be involved in all stages of the model development lifecycle from design to development, testing, and deployment Design and implement scalable and reliable systems for AI applications Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement technical designs and solutions Stay up‑to‑date with new technologies and industry trends, and continuously improve the platform to meet the changing needs of the company Location & Travel New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania – 3 day onsite hybrid. Up to 10% travel within the US. Salary Salary range: $118,980 - $195,465. The final pay will be determined based on education, experience, knowledge, and abilities.
