REMOTE Senior .Net Developer

Job Description We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with 8+ years of hands‑on experience in C#/.NET to support a critical application modernization initiative. This project focuses on transforming and streamlining an existing legacy application into a more scalable, maintainable solution within a Microsoft Azure environment. This role will require strong backend expertise as well as the ability to work within specific front‑end constraints, utilizing core JavaScript and jQuery with limited reliance on modern frameworks or external libraries due to governmental restraints. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the modernization of a legacy application, improving performance, scalability, and maintainability Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Build and enhance RESTful APIs to support application functionality Develop and maintain front‑end components using JavaScript and jQuery, adhering to project constraints around limited library use Refactor and optimize existing codebases while maintaining business continuity Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate modernization requirements into technical solutions Deploy, monitor, and support applications within Azure cloud environments Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing enhancements and stabilization efforts We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
