Market ManagerDevelop and maintain order controls for the departmentResponsible for gross margin controlsResponsible for evaluating department and problem solvingHandles or assists in special bookings and orders of promotional and seasonal itemsTrains personnel in the areas of product knowledge and presentationActs to ensure that all guaranteed pricing of ad items or special sale items are receivedDevelops customer relationships and confidence through proper employee trainingResponsible for required inventory turn within the dept.Exercises technical knowledge when product integrity is in questionAssists in special in-store promotions as neededInsures performance level requirements (productivity)Insures that controllable expenses are within the required levelResponsible for APC (ad profit controls)Responsible for the training and coordination of all daily duties of other met department employees either personally or by making sure tech help is provided
