The Delivery Driver role has an expected base rate between $34.61 and $35.58 per hour, and starts at $35.11 per hour. This role is eligible for overtime compensation. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. To review available benefits, please click here: Schedule 4 days per week - 10 hours per day 2:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. start window 1 overnight route per week Eligible for $10,000 retention bonus paid out over one year Main Ingredients of the Job Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place them in designated customer storage areas Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections Physical Requirements Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required What You Bring to the Table Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse* Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry Preferred ability to operate a manual transmission; may be required in specific locations Must be able to read and communicate in English – hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records Why US Foods US Foods® helps our customers make it, with products and services that shape the communities where we live and work.
