Material Support Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in aluminum extrusion products, is seeking a dedicated Material Support Operator to join their team. As a Material Support Operator, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the extrusion and packing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Support Operator

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $21/hour

Shift: B Shift: Monday – Wednesday: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM Thursday: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
C Shift: Thursday: 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM Friday – Sunday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Pack, load trailers, and handle materials of aluminum parts efficiently and accurately
• Participate in 5S initiatives to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Set up and operate equipment safely to meet production and quality standards
• Review manufacturing orders and verify customer specifications and quality practices
• Support extrusion press operations and assist with process improvements

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and operate inspection equipment properly
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read die drawings and inspect parts
