About the Role
codeCampus is hiring and training a Floating Lead Instructor to serve the Ventura area for the current school year. This role involves working with site staff at our partner schools, leading engaging STEAM projects using our proprietary curriculum for students in grades TK-8th.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with site staff at partner schools.
- Lead STEAM projects and activities for students using our curriculum.
- Instruct students in grades TK-8th.
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with students and parents.
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
About You
This position is ideal for both early-career and experienced educators. Successful candidates will possess:
- Immediate availability for paid training and instruction.
- Availability of approximately 12-15 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Proven experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to complete our professional development training program.
Compensation
This position offers an hourly rate of $25.00, commensurate with experience. Opportunities for performance-based raises and advancement are available.
