About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: NIHSS assessment Experience working in an ER Description: Emergency Department with 30 beds. Staffed with Charge, RNs, Paramedics, PCTs, and NEs for both shifts. Patient ratios are 1:4. Equipment includes Pyxis, GE Monitors, Zoll defibrillators, Welch Allyn, and Dynamap vital signs machines. EMR used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include IV starts, EKGs, trauma care, cardiac care, and stroke management. Ideal candidates should possess a motivated, easy-going, and friendly personality. Team player qualities are essential. Self-scheduling is implemented. Four weekend shifts per month, with two consecutive weekend days required. Facility is known for its efficient emergency services and supportive culture.
