Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic team. This position requires a strong background in respiratory and cardiac care, along with experience in various clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality respiratory care to adult patients, including those with respiratory, cardiac, and orthopedic needs.
• Float between departments, including ER, ICU, medical-surgical wards, telemetry, psychiatric units, and, if applicable, NICU.
• Assist in the management and monitoring of respiratory therapy treatments and interventions.
• Participate in mandatory overtime and flexible scheduling as required to ensure department coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification through NBRC or an equivalent certifying body is required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience in travel healthcare is required.
• NRP certification is highly desired.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records is required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

• 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with an every-other-weekend rotation.
• Availability for on-call and holiday shifts is required. No holiday time off can be accommodated.
