About the Role:
BLVD Electric Inc is looking for a skilled Commercial Lead Electrician to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. This is your opportunity to take charge on exciting commercial projects while working alongside a team that values craftsmanship and professionalism. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on commercial job sites
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, panels, and wiring
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Ensure all work meets NEC code requirements and local San Diego regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain a safe job site and enforce OSHA safety standards
Requirements:
- Valid California Journeyman Electrician license required
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Proven leadership or lead electrician experience on commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and California electrical standards
- Ability to read blueprints and technical electrical drawings
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
