Advanced Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Software Engineer with expertise in LabView ,Visual Basic, understanding of SQL databases and a strong understanding of electronics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Acton, MA location on a Hybrid work schedule.Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition. • BS Computer Science, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• 5 years’ relevant software experience
• Familiarity with National Instruments equipment, LabView, Visual Basic, and SQL databases
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and debugging techniques.
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on electronics.
• Knowledge of network protocols, system integration, and real-time operating systems relevant to building automation.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.WE VALUE
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic and SQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of LabVIEW for data acquisition and control.
