Pay Details Solo Miles Pay: $0.63 per Mile with 1625 Miles per Week average No Touch Stops Pay: $28.00 Per stop — average 6 stops per week Touch Stops Pay: $67.00 Per stop — average 5 stops per week Per Diem Pay: $65.00 per night with 3 - 4 nights per Week Sleeper Premium: $52.50 per night Sign-On Bonus: $2,000:1/2 paid at 30 days and 1/2 paid at 90 days. Paid Training Schedule: Monday Morning – Friday Start Time: 6:30 AM Dispatch Job Details Deliver SOLOTo:750 mile radius of Omaha NE Route: Regional Tractor Type: Sleepers TrailerType:53' Stepdeck Flatbed (6 months Flatbed experience required) Freight:Touch - Strapping & Assembly of Utility Trailers Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations. Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder Drug Test Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1(use it or get paid for it) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided Drivers are the Captain — you make safety decisions, and your job is protected 401(k) rollover available now + company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave(subject to specific eligibility criteria, including work tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more EEO Statement Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
