Salary Range $19.18 - $20.14 Hourly Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation: Hourly wage, adjusted based on experience
• Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary:

Dishwashers are responsible for washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand, maintaining cleanliness of equipment and kitchen work areas, sweeping and scrubbing floors, sorting and removing trash, stocking supplies (such as food or utensils) in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators and salad bars. Responsibilities also include helping to maintain the outdoor service areas, loading docks, building entrances and garbage disposal areas by removing snow and spreading sand/grit. Upholding Killington's Hospitality standards to both our guests and staff.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a commercial dishwasher, including loading and unloading dishes and running the machine properly
• Scrub pots and pans and wash any other dishes that cannot be put in the dishwasher
• Properly set up and operate a three bay sink
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean and organize kitchen work areas
• Take out trash, recycling, and compost
• Load and unload food deliveries and supplies
• Maintain a proper station, keeping items organized and tidy on a daily basis
• Understand and use of proper PPE during a work shift will be required
• Perform basic machine log data such as dishwasher temp log, PPM log, etc.
• Assist with other routine food service functions as assigned

Qualifications:

• Three months of experience in a high-end or high-volume restaurant, resort, or private club environment
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be reliable and have a flexible schedule
• Must be able to follow and implement Killington's Hospitality standards to both customers and guests
• Possess a willingness to consistently communicate in a positive manner with coworkers
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must have excellent time management skills
