Position Summary
FloorTek is hiring a part-time Event Representative to support our weekend event operations, home shows, and local expos. This role is a fantastic fit for someone dependable, outgoing, energetic, and highly comfortable talking with all types of people in a busy public environment. As the face of FloorTek at community events, you will drive brand awareness, engage crowds, and secure qualified leads for our residential and commercial concrete coating services.

Schedule Requirements

• Weekends, part-time seasonal/year-round.

• Event shifts can be long and will vary depending on the specific event schedule. Punctuality and reliable weekend availability are strict requirements for this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Help transport, set up, arrange, and tear down promotional event displays, tents, banners, and sample flooring materials.

• Proactively greet and engage event attendees, introduce FloorTek premium coating systems, answer basic questions, and collect accurate contact details from interested customers.

• Represent FloorTek with a high level of professionalism, high energy, and exceptional customer service always.

• Assist and collaborate with the onsite marketing team, sales representatives, and event coordinators throughout each event.

• Ensure all collected lead information is legibly recorded or entered correctly into company tablets/lead forms before the conclusion of the event.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8- 12 hours) in a bustling event environment.

• Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull event materials weighing 50 lbs. or more during setup and teardown phases.

• Work environments may vary, including indoor convention centers or outdoor community festivals with exposure to varying weather conditions.

Candidate Qualifications

• Personality: Strong, friendly, outgoing personality with an energetic approach to public interaction.

• Experience: Prior experience in customer service, retail, brand ambassadorship, or direct marketing is preferred but not required.

• Highly comfortable initiating conversations with diverse crowds in loud or busy settings.

• Exceptionally punctual, dependable, and personally accountable for scheduled event times.

• Must have reliable transportation to travel to various local event venues.

Compensation and Incentives

• $20/hr base rate paid per event worked.

• $5 additional commission paid for every qualified lead collected.

• $20 additional commission earned for any finalized sales generated from your event leads.
