School Behavior Specialist

**STARTING RATE - $22.00 per hour**

**Current positions are located in Middletown, Barrington or Tiverton**

School Behavior Specialists are responsible for providing therapeutic support and behavior modification to children in their school setting. Employees help develop a child's classroom support plan to address the development of behavioral, communication, social, and functional adaptive skills to assist the child's ability to be successful at school.

As a School Behavior Specialist, you will help a child learn:

• Daily life skills for their everyday routines
• Positive behaviors and coping skills
• Social awareness and social skills

Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience working with children
• Minimum Associates Degree; Bachelor's preferred
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Access to and provision of an insured and inspected automobile on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to complete CPR, First Aid, CPI and other required trainings as necessary.
